sc_game_build_v1.read

Copy the running game build identity into out (caller sets out->size): the exe’s PE TimeDateStamp and SizeOfImage, the game pack version triple, the four-part build the pack verified, that build’s PE timestamp, and pin_matches (1 when the running timestamp equals the verified one). Constant for the process lifetime; no engine state is read beyond the module header.

Header source

sco_result (*read)(sco_plugin* self, sc_game_build_info* out);
Copy the running game build identity into out (caller sets out->size): the exe’s PE TimeDateStamp and SizeOfImage, the game pack version triple, the four-part build the pack verified, that build’s PE timestamp, and pin_matches (1 when the running timestamp equals the verified one). Constant for the process lifetime; no engine state is read beyond the module header.

OK identity copied, UNAVAILABLE out null or out->size too small, BAD_ARG invalid self.

game.build.info publishes with the game pack; if the module header is unreadable the service does not publish at all.

All values copied from constants and the module header; provider retains nothing, allocates nothing.

Game thread only (published with the game pack).

No plugin callback.

Pure read; no engine re-entry.

StopGameBuild withdraws the service; no state to restore.

Status labels are copied verbatim from the catalogue: direct is native access; typed-wrapper is wrapper-backed; restricted is a subset/adaptation; unsupported means no supported route is established. No status implies universal safety.
